Accuracy of truecaller

Some smartphone users here are using truecaller to identify the caller. Do members of this forum use truecaller for identifying the caller, and how accurate is the ap for identifying the caller?

Yes, love, I use Truecaller, and it's actually saved me several times. The app is quite useful for filtering suspicious calls, especially from unknown numbers or those pesky spam and telemarketing centers. In my experience, accuracy depends greatly on the country and the local database, but I'd say it's accurate in 80% or more of cases.
What I like most is that it shows you not only the name, but also whether other users have reported that number as fraudulent or advertising. That gives you a quick idea of whether it's worth answering or not.

Though my phone doesn't come with this feature, but there is an app we can use to achieve the same results and it seems pretty reliable so far.

True Caller feeds on the data that the users input on it. There is no guarantee that it is accurate at all because those data are not standardized.
