When it comes to business, the market is constantly changing, while it is believed that a business owner needs to be able to adapt to the changes that takes place, there are those who believe staying true to how they started makes their business unique and different from others. What's your take on this?

That’s a really interesting question because both perspectives hold some truth. On one hand, adaptability is absolutely critical in business. Markets shift, consumer behavior changes, and technology evolves faster than ever. A business that refuses to adapt risks becoming irrelevant, no matter how strong it was at the beginning. We’ve seen countless examples companies that ignored digital transformation, for instance, eventually lost to more flexible competitors. Being able to pivot, update strategies, or even reinvent parts of the business can mean survival and growth.
On the other hand, there’s a strong argument for staying true to your roots. A business’s core values, brand identity, and unique way of doing things are often what set it apart in the first place. Losing that uniqueness by chasing every market trend can dilute the brand and make it blend in with the crowd. Customers often remain loyal because they connect with the authenticity and consistency of a business, not because it changes with every wave.

This is an interesting question. I think businesses can keep their tradition which can be appealing to their loyal customers. But at the same time, take note of the market trends. It is possible to keep updated and at the same time hold true to the tradition.

It's essential for the business to adapt the trends, or else his business will look dry and customers are always updating. Their eyes are touring around looking for trendy items to buy. And if they found none, they will leave without buying and to look for other business that could satisfy their whims.

This is a fundamental principle in the journey of business. The market is constantly changing, and a successful entrepreneur is one who learns to adapt to change without losing their original direction.

But there is also a beauty in staying true to the basics. Customers build loyalty to a business with a strong identity. Staying true to the values of the founders makes a difference and creates a unique position in the market.

The best solution is to balance change with identity. Change where necessary, but do not forget the essence of your business. That is where the real power of growth is built.
