No idea. Have to take a look at the merge setting for that area.

EDIT: Only 22 topics in that area. Adding to your topic does give it a *NEW* next to it. So at this point, not a big issue that it auto-merges. But if more ads are added, then it doesn't make sense to have it auto-merge.

EDIT AGAIN: Well, it looks like you can't pick and choose which areas you want to use the auto-merge. So, I don't think this can be changed since this is needed in almost all other areas of the forum.

@fords8 and @The Hulk, there is an option to override the group permission to the board specifically. It's in the node permissions settings, under the group permissions that is wanted to modify. Can adjust it there if wanted, and if @fords8 agrees to it. :)
