An 84-year-old man was rescued from a 140-feet deep well

An 84-year-old man was rescued from a 140-feet deep well at 35A, Fadeyemi Street, Pipeline area of Aboru, Agbado Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area, Lagos State, yesterday
Preliminary findings by the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, which effected the rescue, indicated a suspected case of attempted su!cide.

Comptroller General of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Mrs. Margaret Adeseye, explained that the agency received a distress call at 10:09 a.m., on the incident.

That was a deep well; thankfully, the 84-year-old man was rescued. He might have stumbled and dropped on the well. I don't think that he wanted to commit suicide.

At that age he is thinking of suicide? It is well, what about his family though, are they aware about this?

He wants to commit suicide? I think it was better there would have left him there he might probably be tried of life and he might use another way to commit suicide.

He is fortunate that he was rescued because at this age the body gets too weak and little injury may lead to fatal consequences.
