Are contracts that don't have witnesses signing legally binding?

I see some contracts that don't have witnesses. There are no provisions for a witness to be part of the contract. I personally think that having witnesses as part of the signatories of a contract can makes the contract to be more powerful.

Yes I believe they are still very binding that's why they are stated on black and white. With that yoj can tender it anywhere

When two people come into agreement and document it, that document becomes legally binding regardless of having witnesses or not.

I think most contracts are still legally binding without a witness, except wills or deeds which may require a witness.

I think as long as there is a signature then it should still be binding but it's better to have a witness, especially having a lawyer as a witness.

As far as two parties agree on a thing and put it into writing with signatures from two of them, it is legally binding.
