I see some contracts that don't have witnesses. There are no provisions for a witness to be part of the contract. I personally think that having witnesses as part of the signatories of a contract can makes the contract to be more powerful.

Are contracts without witnesses legally binding?

A contract doesn't necessarily need witnesses to be legally binding. The number of signatures required for a contract to be valid depends on the type of contract and the jurisdiction. In general, for simple contracts like those between businesses and customers, the signatures of the parties involved are usually sufficient to establish the contract's validity.

I think as long as there is a signature then it should still be binding but it's better to have a witness, especially having a lawyer as a witness.
