Are dishwashers popular in your country?

Here in our country, dishwashers are not popular. Many people prefer to wash dishes by hand. I believe that only those who are rich have dishwashers, as they are usually too busy with their businesses to perform household chores and they can afford it. In addition, others believe that washing dishes by hand is better because dishwashers can't clean the dishes properly. Are dishwashers popular in your country?

I have not seen anyone that is using a dishwasher in my country. It is not common. People prefer to wash their dishes manually.
