Are elections in India won honestly by the political parties?

Recently there was a by election in West Bengal where the TMC won all the seats and the other parties none. This happened even after most of elite section of WB hate the Chief Minister and her party because of lawlessness in the state. The same thing is with the case of Maharashtra. The common man have shown their dissatisfaction for both BJP and Eknath Shinde party yet their alliance won the election in the state. Don't you think they are winning the election through rigging?

Sabotage is sure. In Bengal some people say the TMC goons terrify them and force them to vote for their party.
