Doing computer work online, requires at least basic english and computer skills which everyone does not have. Yet the government agencies, especially security agencies are always belittling and ridiculing online workers, especially those who work at home, due to which they are treat worse than maidservants. Do government agencies belittle online workers in your country?

We rarely have that provision where you can land a good job and just be working from home in my country. You need a very good reputation and an excellent resume in terms of advanced documentation if you are to land that role to work from home in a formal set-up in my country. Most people who are earning a substantial amount in the informal sector are very hardworking and built a good reputation to be trusted to work from home.

Over here a lot of persons tend to look down on does who work online, some even consider them to be unserious simply cause they feel does who work online are into something dubious.

Some people who are unfamiliar with how online jobs function dismiss those who work as freelancers. Someone close to me belittled me. Even though I work online, I offered her some money and asked where I got it. It offended me.
