Are staff of a bakery entitled to have one free bread a day? Or they must always buy?

Imagine that you own a bakery, and you have like three staff working under you.

Would you allow your staff to have access to one free bread a day or you would insist that they must buy bread if they want to eat bread?

Is it bad practice for bakery staff to be given one bread a day out of the production they do?

I always believe that every job that one does, there should be a perk associated with it. For bakery workers, they should at least have free bread at a minimal quantity everyday.
