I have never engaged directly into money making ventures through social media. But yes, indirectly I have got some financial benefits there. I won the popular blog awards through voting on social media and that brought me some good paid writing works. Also, I have got few orders for my artworks that I often share there. So, social media has indeed help me indirectly to make money.
