Are You Joining the Capybara Naming Contest in Costa Rica?

Wildlife Rescue Center in Costa Rica has brought in a new vibe. They have brought in four new capybaras and are now holding a naming contest. Starting December 22nd, people can submit their names via Facebook and Instagram. The first round will be likes and comments and the top ten will enter a run off round with donations. These capybaras were caught in May being smuggled into the country because they are not from Costa Rica. I feel this contest is a creative way to engage the community and also help the center gain support. It’s a fun and conservation vibe all at once.
