Are you not tempted to lend big money to your boyfriend or girlfriend?

I learned a lesson out of my action letting my ex borrow money from me. I should never do it again. Just imagine he borrowed more or less $ 1,500 . I was a dumb because of love. If I could only read minds, it will never happen to me lied and cheated.

Agree, what it is a lie. It's better to ask the person on what to do with the money and when shall she or he pay. It's better that way than feeling sorry.
 
I can lend money even not a family member if I have, if there's none I won't hesitate to refuse. I lent two people huge money, one was my ex bf but he never paid me until this time. I just consider it a bad dream and move on and promised never again to lend money to anyone.

I will lend money to my girlfriend or boyfriend if i know he have integrity and discipline to return the money. If he or she is not reliable, i will not because it will bring the relationship to end.

I was dumb because of love. I blamed myself for believing my ex-bf that he would pay me. Karma is digital so he should wait for it to come his way. If only...

When we are married, especially out of Western countries, we feel more confident, as a matter of principle. In the case of a simple boyfriend or girlfriend, especially considering the culture of my former country (and Latin American's also), I won't trust at all. Especially in the case of a boyfriend (where I live, it's fairly common for a girl to meet a bon vivant: it happened even to my niece, various times, if I remember well). My niece has a governmental pension cause multiple chronic sicknesses and unfortunately, her pension attracted bon vivants.

I'm so sorry you bumped into such a mishap. In the USA (according to a famous comedian) and in my former country also, this is the risk when you lend money to your boyfriend. That comedian says in such a case men begin to feel the desire to start a relationship with another woman that behaves the other way round.

I'm so sorry you bumped into such a mishap. In the USA (according to a famous comedian) and in my former country also, this is the risk when you lend money to your boyfriend. I was dumb at that time and he was my first boyfriend. After that bad ordeal, I became strong and never allowed another fate to harass my financial life he he.

Love is cruel sometimes and when it comes, we never know why it happens that way. We only feel the pain of losing someone because of betrayal and the worst thing is when he or she borrowed money and never returned. In my case, I felt like being hit with a sharp dagger.:sneaky:

In such a case, dear friend, it is all but love. True love is never cruel. In such cases, the boyfriend (or girlfriend) is very probably just looking for the golden goose (I'm sorry to say such a statement, as it's hard :cry: ).

Love is beautiful but if it is made ugly by someone you love, the beauty in it will be replaced with hatred and agony for being abused . It is so hard to fond a real human this time.
