Are You Using Coinbase Wallet?

I have been using Coinbase wallet since 2012, and until now personally, I have no major complaints, moreover users do not need to worry because Coinbase is one of the platforms that insures its users' funds. In 2020, Coinbase was hacked and some users especially those living in California lost their crypto, but Coinbase has refunded/replaced its users' funds. Since then, Coinbase users when logging in, must verify their email, phone number and address verification, in addition users can log in using fingerprints or facial recognition. Sharing your experience using Coinbase wallet, good or bad, will be very useful information for other users.

You are using it since 2012? Wow. I signed up to Coinbase in 2015 and received 0.22 Bitcoin in 2016 when the price was $400

I have not used Coinbase wallet. Does it work outside the United States and Europe? Read somewhere that it i geo restricted.

Sometimes, I don't use it always, I mostly use exchange and I keep most of my cryptocurrencies in cold wallets that I have, in fact I recommend everyone to do this, to keep their cryptocurrencies in cold wallets, it's the safest.

I agree with you, but when I signed up with Coinbase there were no other wallets let alone cold wallets, currently I use hot wallets for daily transactions and connecting to crypto exchanges, when the crypto value exceeds $1k Coinbase also recommends its users to move crypto to cold wallets.

I was using it before now but it has now been disabled for my country I don't even know why
