Why not? Bitcoin have lesser unit called satoshi. I will do the necessary calculations and give him the exact amount i want to give him. It is very simple. If i want to give my friend for example $5, i will do the calculation and give him the exact satoshi.
Currently the price of BTC is above $72k. Of course I am willing to give and receive gifts in BTC. In general, earning sites such as faucet sites, forums, etc., provide rewards in USD which are converted into BTC, so they will be more stable. But if you only give small gifts, you will lose because the blockchain fee is also high.
