Every business should have a culture of respect amongst the staff team. There are hierarchies and it is expected that the junior staff should accord respect to the senior managerial staff.

As a business owner, how do you handle a situation where a junior staff disrespects a staff that is among the top managers?

It depends on the rules and regulations of the company, most of them often have a verbal warning, then in situations where they repeat the offence again, they can get a written warning or suspension.

Even when the junior staff might be right, it is wrong to insult a superior and it erodes the junior staff being right.
I will first see who was right or what was the cause of disrespect. I don't take action without knowing the actual cause.

Insulting anyone is wrong, not just your senior but even junior. Sadly, a lot of people in higher position constantly insult juniors. This is a bad practice.

I have not experienced it in my offline business, but that attitude by the junior staff disrespecting the senior management staff is outrageous. That junior staff member needs to be kicked out, no manners or proper conduct.
