Assayas’s film The Wizard of the Kremlin facing turbulence during its Latvian shoot is notable. Personally, I think it reflects the challenges of art intersecting with politics. What surprises me is the intensity of reactions to cultural projects. For me, the most important aspect is freedom—art must explore without fear. I believe this film will provoke debate. In the end, cinema is not just entertainment, it is reflection.
