Be careful of people you deal business with online. Scammers are everywhere.

So I just went on Forum Race today to read posts. And I just discovered that there is someone that scammed the admin of that forum. And ironically, the person is an active member of this forum too.

Everyone that is earning online should he careful of people that are out to scam. Do proper checks before dealing with anyone online. And try to have a cushion.

The rate of scamming online seems to have risen sharply lately. And @Mike30 is a nice person to be scammed. Too bad.

I think everyone coming online to work should know this. They need to avoid bogus claims online. Try and verify information before indulging anyone online

Am always extra careful when dealing with anyone both offline and online cause we really can't tell who is who this days.

That’s so true. Scammers are even putting in a lot of effort nowadays. Just the other night, a friend of mine told us that someone was using her name and photo to scam people online. The scammer even created a Gmail account pretending to be her.

They emailed her colleague, asking for money and telling her to send it through GCash. But when she tried entering the number in her GCash account, she noticed that the first letters of the name didn’t match the name of my friend. That’s when she became suspicious, so she called her directly—and learned that she didn’t even have that email address.

It was a scary reminder that we really have to be extra careful.
