That Moz DA is very important because it shows the strength of your site on Google. With a high DA you have more leverage and get better ad deals. Many people use MozBar or Link Explorer to check that number regularly to see if their efforts are paying off.
Other great tools are Ahrefs and SEMrush. although these are a little more expensive but provide more in-depth data. If you know your DA you know where to adjust to climb higher.
