Better social status of employees

Though the government claims that it wishes to encourage entrepreneurs, in reality small business owners are treated very badly by government agencies, criminally defamed, denied their fundamental rights. In comparison employees, especially of large companies have a better social status and are not harassed. In your country, do employees have a better social status?
