Between residual and passive income which is which?

I can say that the passive ways of Income is a little bit more better than the residual amount of income according to me. What is your views on this?

I think residual income is the income after all expenses and debts have been paid. Passive income refers to income earned with minimal efforts.

I like passive income more especially if it is a high revenue generating avenue and it is almost a permanent one like real estate

We cannot compare residual income with passive income, residual income is income obtained through various activities and is active, which comes from active income minus expenses, while passive income is obtained from investment rewards.
