Health Canada issued a public warning after a Rocky Convenience store in Toronto was caught selling counterfeit male enhancement pills.
The drugs seized were 100 mg sildenafil tablets with no batch number and an expiration date of March 2030. The packaging was misprinted.
They also found 20 mg tadalafil with batch number 05668 and an expiration date of April 2028. The makers of Viagra and Cialis have confirmed these are counterfeit.
Health Canada says customers who have found these pills should stop using them immediately and dispose of them safely. Counterfeit drugs can pose a serious health risk.
