Bitcoin's dominance is rising fast, and it’s starting to put serious pressure on altcoins. When BTC takes the spotlight, most altcoins start losing value in both USD and BTC pairs. I’ve noticed some strong projects dipping hard lately. Is this a warning sign or just a cycle shift? What are you doing holding BTC or buying cheap alts?

According to TradingView, Bitcoin dominance is currently showing a figure of 64.04% and has dropped 0.22% in the last 24 hours. Bitcoin dominance is more widely used by traders to determine the direction of market sentiment, trends, manage risk,

Bitcoins will be forever dominant in the world of cryptocurrency. It will continue to rise and one day many of you here become millionaires.
Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency to be a worldwide success and the leading cryptocurrency in the world, all other cryptocurrencies except for some others (which are few) absolutely all cryptocurrencies move according to the movement of BTC, if BTC goes up those cryptocurrencies go up, if BTC goes down those cryptocurrencies go down, so yes, BTC dominates and will continue to dominate for the rest of time until a cryptocurrency better than BTC comes out.

Wolf, Bitcoin will always have first position amongst cryptocurrencies; as long as I can remember its' always (or almost always) been the first crypto anyone goes to.

Just as it rises quickly, it will fall quickly when an alt-season arrives, that is, a season of altcoins. In the last cycle, I remember that the same exact thing happened, and history, as we all know, tends to repeat itself.

Would the alt season ever come? It doesn't look like it would come. We have been waiting for it for a long time now and have not seen it.

They are cycles, it always arrives. If we think about it, who is more interested in an altseason arriving? The exchanges, this is their main business avenue. If an altseason doesn't arrive, retail investors won't come in, and their profits will be minimal. If we look at previous altseasons, we'll see that they have all been started by them to boost their business, so they will make it happen again at any moment.
