So I went to buy fabrics from the person that I use to buy from regularly at some price. The following day, my supplier was not around and I bought from another person at a much cheaper rate than I bought from my supplier. Same quality.

Would you advise me to ditch my supplier?

You need to have a talk with your supplier. And understand why the price is different. If nothing can be done, you ditch.

There's something fishy with your supplier over pricing the same products. It's better for you to ask your supplier why he's having different prices. Show to him the receipt
He might refund you. It's better to shift to another supplier.

Your supplier might equally be selling old stock which might have been more expensive at cost price. Talking to her is the best thing to do.
My point exactly, situations of things always differs it is to find out why there's a high or low discrepancies if any.
