The Brazil floods really drive home how at-risk we are to climate change. I think the worst thing is seeing thousands of families lose their homes and needing help right away. It's just awful seeing communities wiped out overnight. What really gets me is how the basic stuff like roads and buildings can't handle the bad weather, leaving people in danger. I feel like we seriously need to put more money into stopping disasters before they happen and handling them better when they do. In short, this disaster in Brazil shows why the whole world needs to get serious about adapting to climate change.
