According to the report, Israel confirmed Saturday that it eliminated at least 16 terrorists in a strike one day earlier in Beirut, including many of the top commanders of Hezbollah’s Radwan force.

The report said that Ibrahim Aqil, the head of Hezbollah’s military operations died in the strike. He was wanted by US authorities for the bombing of the US embassy in Beirut back in the 1980s.

Hezbollah said the strike killed two of its most senior commanders and 14 other terror operatives. This comes as the war in Gaza near the one-year mark following the Oct. 7 attack by Hamas on Israel and as tension between Israel and Hezbollah continues to intensify after this week’s electronic explosions, involving pagers and walkie-talkies.

The report added that Hezbollah’s leader Hassan Nasrallah said the explosions were a “declaration of war” by Israel, though Israel has not taken responsibility for the attacks.

In addition, one viewer said that: Seeing as Hezbollah is a terrorist group, not a state, and Lebanon allows Hezbollah to operate from within its borders, war has been declared by both against Israel, even if they never officially announced it. Therefore Israel doesn't have to "declare" war against either! Retaliation against thousands of rocket/missile attacks, in any format, is justified.
