Business Organizations Going on Break Towards the End of the Year. Necessary or not?

There are so many businesses that have either gone or about to go on a break to resume operations again next year. Do you think a break towards the end of the year does an organization much good? What are the potential benefits of such breaks to the business?

For a business that doesn't peak during the end of the year, it is perfect for them to go on break to recuperate for the next year.

I think it is very necessary, these workers have families as well, it would be nice for them to take a break and spend time with their families and come back fresh to work.

Well, they need to take the break but run shifts in between. Even doing the holidays we still needs products to use

For my kind of business, it is during the end of year period that sales pick up and such breaks is not necessary at all.
