Based on costs, which do you think is better between buying a expired domain that has authority or working to build a new domain from scratch? Know that it might take 12 months to have same authority on the new domain.

Which is cheaper between the two options?

I find buying old domain easier and pays off faster than starting new one. Although the price higher initially, I save the time and money of advertising it for a whole year without any profit.
