California Declares State of Emergency Following 7.0 Magnitude Earthquake

According to the report, California Governor Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency for Thursday's Northern California's 7.0 Richter scale offshore-epicenter earthquake and shoreline for Del Norte, Humboldt and Mendocino counties.

The report said that a powerful 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of northern California on Friday. The US Geological Survey reported the earthquake's epicenter, and a tsunami warning was briefly issued for northern California and southern Oregon, affecting roughly 4.7 million people, before being rescinded.

The report also stated that Local authorities reported no fatalities or significant damage following the quake. This earthquake is one of only nine 7.0 magnitude tremors globally this year, highlighting the ongoing seismic activity in the region.

Earthquake is a natural calamity and no one can predict when it shall strike or quake in a particular place I hope there were no casualties in Californian earthquake.
