Can you re-employ a staff that left your job over little pay?

A cousin of mine is running an air ticketing and booking service company in the country. However his staffs left the job for well paying jobs without resigning. Now that the job is no more help has returned back to the former company pleading for a job. What is the right way for the business owner to do concerning that issue?

Based on your explanation, in situations like this i won't accept them back. First they left without going through the right channel. If i should accept them back, they might likely repeat this same action again.

They betrayed the company. If they left of food terms still, it would have been easier to absorb them back. I honestly won't take them back to my company.

I have been a victim of poor pay, and I left. With that understanding, I won't hold any grudge against a staff that left because of poor pay.
