Canada school boards have launched a multibillion-dollar lawsuit against the social media firms. The firms are Meta, Snap Inc and ByteDance. They cosiked that the social media firms are acting in acting in malicious, and reprehensible manner with products as such it harm student learning which aid rewiring how children think.

The Canada's boards suing are Ottawa-Carleton, Toronto, Peel and Toronto Catholic as the filed different petition. The petition that
social media products designed for compulsive use, have rewired the way students think, behave, and learn. With this educators and schools are left to manage the fallout,.

The boards are of the views that the companies adopt exploitative business practices to gain profits than dwelling on the mental health and wellbeing of students. What do you think?
