Catholic Bishops Issue Strong Pastoral Letter on "Moral Decay"
The Episcopal Conference of Malawi(ECM) released a hard-hitting pastoral letter on December 26, read in all Catholic churches, expressing deep concern over rising "moral decay and corruption." The bishops specifically criticized the erosion of integrity in public office, the "scandalous enrichment of the few," and a growing culture of violence and disrespect. They called for a national examination of conscience and urged leaders to serve with humility

It's scary honestly, the society is decaying seriously. Things that are morally and ethically wrong is now the norm of the day.

Nothing the Malawian church can do about moral decay. That was expected when we heralded wokeness in the church.
