A man from Norway has filed a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority after ChatGPT falsely told him that he had killed two of his sons and he has been jailed for twenty-one years. He demanded ChatGPT be fined.
How could that happen a man sentenced for 21 years because the court believed the testimony of a ChatGPT? A ChatGPT isn't fed with data about the crime. It only relies on the data being programmed by an expert. His lawyer lacked commonsense. He should have hired a lawyer also expert in technology.
I think the man can not be able to win again ChatGPT in the court because there is TOS that states that ChatGPT is on a experimental stage and can give false information. ChatGPT is legally protected from unexpected attack.
ChatGPT probably knows something that we don't know about. Lol.....what prompt did he use. I know that ChatGPT hallucinates sometimes but this was extreme.
