According to the report, the US is deploying its NMESIS* missile system into the heart of one of the world’s most strategic and tense bodies of water — the Luzon Strait near China. It will be the closest to the Chinese mainland that US land-based cruise missiles have been deployed, as per reports. The NMESIS anti-ship missile system will be equipped with Naval Strike Missiles (NSM), also known as “ship killers”, which cost about $1.9 million each. The deployment of anti-ship missile systems will come as part of Exercise Balikatan ’25 — the 40th iteration of the annual drills between the US and the Philippines.
The real purpose why the US is leaving its advance weapons in the Philippines is to train the Armed Forces of the Philippines in the use of such weapons. Soon Filipinos will manufacture their own weapons and missile systems. They can do it. There are a lot of mart people in the Philippines.
Watch the report o the YT link.
