Cloudfare outage only for some websites

From my perspective, the main reason larger websites are affected by an outage like Cloudflare's, while smaller or local sites aren't, has to do with infrastructure and reliance on CDN services like Cloudflare. Large platforms typically have more complex configurations and depend heavily on these services to ensure speed and security. When Cloudflare experiences an outage, these platforms can become completely blocked or slow. In contrast, smaller or local sites often don't use these services or have simpler infrastructure, so they aren't as dependent on them. Furthermore, some small sites may have their own servers or alternative distribution methods that aren't affected by the main issue. Ultimately, reliance on external services and infrastructure complexity make all the difference in how these outages impact websites.
