Coinbase Soon to Launch Blockchain-Based Stock Trading Service

The leading global crypto exchange, Coinbase, is currently offering tokenized equities to its users and is seeking approval from the SEC. If approved, users will be able to trade stocks.

Tokenized equities are stocks that have been converted into crypto tokens and can be traded. Similar to crypto, traders do not buy or sell shares directly, but only share tokens from specific issuers.

The advantages of stock tokenization include lower trading costs, faster transaction processing, and 24/7 trading.

Coinbase is bring a lot of innovation on cryptocurrency. They have make their app more intuitive and responsive. Coinbase is not accessible to cryptocurrency users in third world countries. I wish i will have the opportunity to trade in that platform.
