Colombia faces rising deforestation in the Amazon

The increase in deforestation in Colombia is really worrying. I think the worst thing is the loss of different species of plants and animals. It's also really sad how it affects the native people who live there. It's hard to believe that people are still cutting down trees illegally, even with the government trying to stop it. To me, the key is that the government needs to do a better job of enforcing the rules, and countries need to work together. In the end, I really think it's important that we protect the Amazon for the sake of the entire Earth.
