It depends on the social media platform that you select based on your target audience. and the general rule is that the content should be educational, entertaining or offers value.
Twitter for example shows content chronologically, so i’d post a few times a day some content that encourage engagement.
Facebook on the other hand shows content by relevancy so quality is more important than quantity. it is post twice or three times a week by maximum. Videos bring more engagement, then photo + caption posts.
