The business of selling cooked food always demands that someone that operates it spends long hours by the cooker. That's much exposure to heat that can cause serious health issues. How can one deal with this health disadvantage of constant exposure to heat with cooked food business?

My sister sold food at the school canteen. She woke up at 2 dawn to start cooking. She wasn't exposed to too much heat, she used gas range. This time she's not anymore selling food in the canteen. My sister with her family migrated to the UK.

The food business requires a person to be near the stove for a long time. This situation creates extreme heat that can affect health. A person can get dizzy or tired every day without knowing the cause is heat.

One way to protect yourself is to wear light clothing and drink water regularly. It is also good to have a fan or open window in the kitchen to let the air flow. Taking regular breaks also helps the body breathe properly and reduce the effects of heat.

It is important to plan a work schedule in shifts so that someone does not stay in the kitchen for too long. Health is more important than business profits. If you take good care of yourself, you can run your business for a long time without health problems.
