Death penalty for adults who rapes children

One recent news, new Florida law now allows death penalty to be issued out to adults who rapes children under 12 years old.
Personally i think they shouldn't even add any age restrictions. This would greatly reduce this kind of crime.

I think that it should apply generally to rapists. Those people don't deserve to live at all. It is inhumane to rape someone.

It's like saying Florida has decided to show its teeth for very serious offenses. But the debate is still open about whether this will actually reduce crime or is a political way to show power. A Chinese proverb says that a small stone, if repeatedly knocked on, can tear apart a mountain.

The death penalty was already made into law by the Florida government. At least the inclusion of criminals who will rape kids below 12 years old is subject to the death penalty.
