Most writing sites are centralized, there are people who own the site and who also generate revenue for the site they are running. Some classic examples are Medium, Vocal, etc.. Interestingly there are decentralized writing sites that do not have individuals as owners. Have you tried any decentralized writing sites, what site did you use?
