According to the news, Environment officials lauded a farmer in Cotabato province for saving a juvenile Philippine serpent eagle (Spilornis holospilus) which was released back to the wild on Wednesday.

The reprt added that Forester Abdulnagib T. Ringia, community environment and natural resources officer of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) based in Matalam town, said the acts of Jimmy Icdang should set an example to all on how to treat the country’s wildlife, especially the endangered ones.
