According to the report, a disturbing cell phone video showed on-duty New Mexico sheriff’s deputies abusing a baby rabbit and engaging in threatening behavior, prompting a state police investigation after it surfaced on social media.
The report said that one deputy came forward, alleging the incident was part of a broader pattern of misconduct involving weapons and intimidation that supervisors failed to stop. The video ultimately led to the arrest of Deputy Alejandro Gomez on multiple felony charges, and all deputies involved were fired as the case moved forward in court.
What a shame, they forgot that what they were doing was animal cruelty, which could also happen to humans. These abusive police deserve no pardon. They lost a good job because of their foolishness.
