Do people pay attention to content more in a private group than on a public feed?

Let's say one posts his or her contents on a private group like a dedicated WhatsApp group or another smaller group in another platform.

Do you think that the content would get the attention of people more in a private group than a public feed like Social media stories?

Posting in private groups tends to attract more deliberate attention. Members are usually more invested in the topic, so they scroll less randomly and interact more with content. Public feeds offer volume but also a lot of competition for attention. For engagement and meaningful responses, smaller, focused groups often outperform wide public exposure.

I don't think so. Engagement with content depends on the content itself irrespective of where it is shared

For me l think that people should constrate more on the public related activities rather than taking some risks to be scammed on the private groups so to speak.

Personally I like to pay attention more to private group. I just trust that the information churned out would be authentic
