Many customers might be ignorant of the products they want to buy and might rely on the seller to advise them as he or she is trying to sell to them. That means the seller would have to spend time talking to the customer before selling.

Does your business demand that you keep advising customers on their choices of products!

I think it is only when a customer asks for your advise and recommendations that you should advise else you would take responsibility if the products end up not working well.
i feel It's best to let customers come to you for advice, then you can guide them based on their needs.

The notion that a customer is always right applies that you respect the customer's choices and only interfere when they ask for your opinions.

My business is selling milk tea, and sometimes my staff invite the customers to come again. It's a good tactic to advice the customers to patronize your products. That's one way to have good connections with your customers.

That's awesome! Inviting customers back is a great way to build loyalty and show you care – your staff's enthusiasm is infectious, I'm sure customers love it!

Respect the customer's space! Let 'em browse, and jump in only when they need a hand, sales can be pushy, subtlety's key!
That's the way to go. You don't have to make it seem like you are desperate to complete a particular sale. That doesn't sit well with some customers.
