This time, it is not safe to hire a staff without conducting a background check of the applicant unless that applicant is familiar to us. But I do not know in your case, if you hire without doing it. In my case, I hired my younger sister to manage my milk tea business. I only have two staff. It is just a small business. It deals with money, so I must also be cautious to avoid business failure. I set a capital so I won’t allow to be cheated. I trusted my sister and my cousin. Is there somebody you heard being cheated by his business because he hired the wrong applicant?

There are companies outsmarted by wise applicants pretending to be the owner of the stolen credentials. It happened in our city a multinational company's HR failed to scrutinize the applicant. He was hired but after a month after a background checked, it was learned that the employee submitted fake credentials. He was given two options to resign or get jailed. He resigned on the spot.

It's of great advantage if hire a staff we know well the personal background. We can get from them their heartfelt support and sympathy. Trust is essential in every transaction. To hire a skilled neighbor is a luck.
