Some tech giants are already advocating for a complete switch from passwords to Passkeys. In fact, Microsoft is deleting all saved passwords so that everyone can set up Passkeys to assess Microsoft products.

Do you like this complete switch from passwords to Passkeys?

Personally, I think the shift from passwords to Passkeys is a natural step in the evolution of digital security. Passwords, although they've been the standard for decades, have too many weaknesses: they can be guessed, stolen through phishing, or leaked in compromised databases. Passkeys, on the other hand, are based on advanced cryptography and are linked directly to our devices, making it much more difficult for an attacker to gain unauthorized access.
What I like most is the convenience. You no longer have to remember dozens of different passwords or rely on external managers. With Passkeys, you just use a fingerprint, facial recognition, or a local PIN to access your accounts. Of course, there are challenges, such as the dependence on a secure device and potential recovery issues if it's lost, but overall, I think it's a positive development. I fully support this transition.
