No, I don't but I think that will be beneficial to me in anywhere so it's better I have it in my town
In my country, banking has a rule where to open a bank account they must match the ID card where they live. So we can't create a bank account where we never live.
Many years back I lived in a different city due to my job and when I left that company and returned back to my home city I could not close that bank account there which is still open having very little amount of money in it
I don't even understand the benefit why one should even do this. Live in different town but have a bank account in another

Most banks here have branches in different towns or locations, so if I have an account in a particular bank, I simply look for their branch in any city I am in.
Yes, it is better in the city you are in. I don't see the need having a bank account in another city that you don't live in

The bank that I have an account with has many branches spread across the country, which makes it convenient for me to conduct all my financial transactions without a hitch. In addition, I have also installed a banking app on my smartphone, which provides me with hassle-free access to my account and all the services that the bank offers.
The poster is requesting about being in separate state and opening account in another state I don't think it worth it.
