Do you have to replace smartphone chargers often?

It seems like the accessory of smartphones that gets spoilt the most and needs replacement is the charger. Especially if you have lost the factory charger. Do you have to buy charger for your smartphone often? Have you ever used a smartphone charger for up to a year?

Once the original charger that comes with the phone is faulty, it can be very hard to find a perfect fit for your phone, so i always try my best to take good care of the charger. I don't replace my charger often.

I do not think so. Instead, you have to look after it very carefully and don't leave it at hot places.

My phone is two years old and I think I have bought up to five chargers since the original charger got spoilt.

As I am typing this, my charging USB chord is shaking. And I definitely would have to change it soon.
