In my country most banks pay dividends for the fixed deposit account holders only. For me l l hardly get the dividends because l don't save money on fixed deposit accounts.
Banks are usually paying interest to fixed deposit holders, though they may be told not to give interest to some customers and refund the fixed deposit amount.
@Stardom22 the term dividends is used for shareholders to receive a share of business profits, I have a time deposit only get interest that is automatically transferred to a savings account.
